PANAJI: The Goa Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, on Wednesday approved the summoning of the Goa Legislative Assembly from August 31, 2026.
The decision was taken during the Cabinet meeting held on July 22 and was announced by the Chief Minister while briefing the media.
According to Dr. Sawant, the Assembly session will commence on August 31, while the detailed schedule, including the number of sitting days and the duration of the session, will be finalised at a later stage.
