Team Goemkarponn MORMUGAO: Mormugao Zonal Base of FSI organized an “Open House and Marine Fishery Exhibition”  as part of the World Fisheries Day 2024 celebration on November 21. Students and teachers from Govt. Murgaon High School, Headland Sada, Vasco and Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Vasco participated in the programme. Later the students along with teachers visited the departmental vessels MFV Sagarika and MFV Yellow Fin berthed at Mormugao Port Authority, Goa where they were explained about various navigational and sea safety appliances, marine engines, fishing gears etc. used onboard the vessels.
