CANACONA: A 45-year-old man from Mastimol, identified as Venkatesh Naik, passed away at Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim, days after sustaining injuries from a fall at his residence.
According to information received from the GMC casualty unit, Naik was admitted on June 14 following a self-fall incident at his home.
Despite receiving treatment, he succumbed to his injuries.
The body has been preserved at GMC for medico-legal formalities.
Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Babu D. Dessai of Canacona Police Station.
