PANJIM: The National Green Tribunal (NGT), Principal Bench, New Delhi,  has dismissed an appeal filed challenging the environmental clearance (EC) granted to the proposed Integrated Solid Waste Management Plant (ISWMP) at Bainguinim.   The Bainguinim Citizen Forum (BCF) had approached NGT challenging the EC granted to the project by the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority. The appeal was filed on 04.02.2020. PANJIM: Goa today reported 519 new Covid Postive cases. While there were 724 recoveries and 3 deaths. The total confirmed cases tally in the state now stands at 31,071. As per DHS bulletin 25,071 people have been declared as of now.  1,981 samples were tested of which 519 were tested positive.
