In an operation undertaken since February, the NCB has arrested four accused including two peddlers, Raju S and Michael, the main drug dealer Stanley, a Nigerian national, and his wife Usha C. Goemkarponn desk PANAJI: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Thursday booked a British national for growing cannabis at his residence in Goa. A team of NCB had received a tip-off regarding illegal in-house cannabis cultivation, after which they raided the house of Jason, a British national in Socorro, North Goa. During the search, 33 newly grown cannabis plants, 10 grams of ganja and Rs 40,000 were recovered from the house. Bengaluru: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday arrested two key accused in the Rameshwaram Cafe blast in Bengaluru last month. Mussavir Hussain Shazeb and Abdul Matheen Taha were arrested from Kanthi in Bengal’s East Midnapore district this morning, the agency said. While Shazeb planted the explosive device inside a bag at the cafe, Taha was responsible for planning the attack and their subsequent disappearance, the anti-terror agency said.
