Goemkarponn desk CANACONA – A 50-year-old man from Agonda committed suicide by hanging on Sunday. According to Canacona Police, Vithoba Narayan Velip, 50, a resident of Agonda, died after he hanged himself. Police further informed Velip committed suicide by hanging using a black colour electric wire. The deceased was mentally disturbed and medically ill, informed the Investigating Officer, LPSI Rifa Barretto. Postmortem is conducted, and the body is handed over for final rites, informed police. A case is registered under section 174 CRPC, and the police are further investigating under the guidance of Canacona Pi Chandrakant Gawas.
