Team Goemkarponn MARGAO: Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has intensified its ticket inspection drives, detecting thousands of cases of unauthorized or irregular travel and collecting substantial penalties during February 2026. According to a press release issued by KRCL, a total of 873 ticket checking drives were conducted in February along with routine ticket inspections. During these drives, 41,522 cases of unauthorized or irregular travellers were detected, and a total of ₹2.41 crore was recovered towards railway fare and penalties.
