BICHOLIM: About 100 people today marched towards the Bicholim police station demanding proper investigation and arrest of all the accused in the rape case of a minor girl. It may be stated that Bicholim police had arrested 19-year-old Arman Khan from Muslimwada Bicholim in connection with raping a 15-year-old girl from Bicholim area. Goemkarponn desk Porvorim: Salvador-do-Mundo-based farmer Narinder Chatim has accused local panch member Agnel Fernandes alias Agno Fernandes for threatening him and also his farm labour without any provocation. The police complaint mentions that the panch has threatened to kill both of them. Chatim has addressed complaint to Superintendent of Police (North) and Porvorim Police Inspector, which is the second complaint since June 2021.
