A day after State Election Commission statement kicked-up a controversy the State government clarified that no decision has been taken with regards municipal elections. Ina. Late night press statement, The Department of Information said that the Government clarified the decision about Municipal Council Elections, in prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, is yet  to be conveyed. A 14-year old girl from Vasco was one the four victims who succumbed to the COVID19 on Saturday taking the death toll to 33 in the State. While the COVID19 positive cases decreased to 146, there were more recoveries as 182 persons recovered, taking the recoveries to 3047. On Saturday four deaths were reported – One 80-yr old female from Chorao, one female 65 years from Vasco, One male 80 years from Virdi, Sankhali.
