PANAJI: Former Minister Ramesh Tawadkar today has been acquitted by South Goa District Court in connection with assault case. In his complaint to the Canacona Police, Puno Velip had stated that he and his friend were travelling to Chaudi on a two-wheeler when they were stopped by a car with a red beacon of the then minister Tawadkar.
