PANAJI: Former Minister Ramesh Tawadkar today has been acquitted by South Goa District Court in connection with assault case. In his complaint to the Canacona Police, Puno Velip had stated that he and his friend were travelling to Chaudi on a two-wheeler when they were stopped by a car with a red beacon of the then minister Tawadkar. Panaji -Corporation of city of panaji today distributed 30 smartphones to its supervisors at a function held in CCP conference hall. Corporation has developed an app based system wherein councilors and public can send their grievances regarding development works and other issues pertaining in their wards,p commissioner Sanjit Rodrigues said. Panaji: in his first appearance since accident last week, AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik today urged people not to worry as he is stable and recovering well. In a video message from outside GMC, Naik said, “My health is good and I am recovering.” He also appealed public not to visit GMC and as he will be discharged in 4 to 5 days. Naik had met with accident last week while going to Gokarna. Margao: Sewerage problem of Margao and surrounding will be solved by December 2021, says PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar after inspecting Sewage issue at Fatorda.
