Team Goemkarponn Quepem: The body of a 31-year-old male was found lying near a coconut farm at Tiloi Balli, Fatorpa, Quepem, on February 2, 2026, police said. According to police, at around 10.04 am, a call was received from PCR Margao after 108 ambulance staff informed that a male person was found lying near Deeajay coconut farm at Tiloi Balli. Team Goemkarponn Curchorem: Police have registered a theft case following a complaint regarding a break-in at the Sai Baba Temple at Kamral, Curchorem. According to the complaint lodged by Vijay Panchawadkar, a resident of Kamral, the incident occurred on February 2, 2026, at around 12.23 am. An unknown accused person allegedly gained entry into the temple by breaking open the back door and stole cash amounting to approximately ₹50,000 from the temple’s fund peti. Team Goemkarponn Cortalim: Verna police have registered a case of kidnapping following a complaint lodged by the mother of a minor girl from Chauder, Cortalim. According to the complaint, the incident occurred on January 31, 2026, at around 5.30 pm, when an unknown accused person allegedly unlawfully kidnapped the complainant’s minor daughter from her residence, taking her away from lawful guardianship. Police have registered the offence and launched a search to trace the missing minor and identify the accused.
