Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant met and congratulated two students selected under the Goa Super 100 Scholarship initiative of the PACT Foundation.
The beneficiaries, Laxmi Nilesh Toraskar from Nerul, pursuing a BA in Economics, and Satwija Bablo Naik from Dabal, pursuing a BA LLB, have been awarded scholarships valued at ₹30 lakh each for the entire duration of their programmes. The scholarship covers tuition fees, hostel accommodation, meals and other educational expenses.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister also interacted with Dr. Ashwin Fernandes, Founder of the PACT Foundation, and appreciated the organisation’s efforts to empower Goan youth through education and opportunities.
Dr. Sawant said the Goa Super 100 Scholarship is a remarkable initiative aimed at supporting students from marginalised communities by providing higher education and hostel assistance at leading universities across India based on merit and need.
He said such initiatives play an important role in expanding educational opportunities and helping students realise their academic aspirations.
