Team Goemkarponn PONDA: Unknown miscreants broke into a construction company store at Bandoda and decamped with items worth around ₹60,000. Police said the incident occurred on September 29, 2025, between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon, when unidentified accused persons broke open the lock of the Shivranjani Construction Company Store at Dhonshiwada, Bandoda, and committed theft of MCBs, nut bolts and lugs. The complaint in this regard was lodged by Sahil Naik, resident of Mirabag, Sanvordem, and manager of Shivranjani Construction Company. Team Goemkarponn PERNEM: Acting on a tip-off, Mandrem Police on Tuesday conducted a narcotics raid near the old ferry point at Kiranpani, Paliem, Pernem, and arrested a 21-year-old accused for possessing a substantial quantity of contraband. The raid, carried out between 7:50 am and 11:05 am on September 30, 2025, led to the arrest of Ganesh Kalauni, son of Lalit Mohan Kalauni, a native of Pancheshwor Gav Palika, Baitadi, Nepal, and resident of Aronda, Sindhudurg, Maharashtra.
