Team Goemkarponn PANAJI: The North Goa District Police intensified its crackdown on nuisance and unlawful activities between September 8 and 14, arresting 66 persons under preventive action. The drive also saw police take 53 actions against public drinking, register 297 violations under COTPA, and book 116 cases of smoking and spitting in public places. In addition, seven touts were apprehended during the week.
