Mapusa: The Mapusa Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court has remanded Ajay Gupta to 14 days of judicial custody in connection with a case registered by Mapusa Police against GS Hospitality Goa Arpora LLP.
The company, jointly owned by Ajay Gupta and the Luthra brothers, has been accused of allegedly forging documents to procure an excise licence for the establishment Birch by Romeo Lane at Arpora.
During the court hearing, Gupta informed the magistrate that he would cooperate fully with the police investigation. The case remains under probe as authorities continue examining the alleged use of falsified documents.
