MARGAO: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today urged the voters to vote for Viksit Bharat, and Viksit Goa while stating that BJP will both Lok Sabha seats.
CM Dr Pramod Sawant along with his wife Sulakshana Sawant cast their vote from Kotambi village.
Voted for Viksit Bharat, Viksit Goa; I urging everyone to come out in large numbers and exercise their democratic rights. Goa will touch voter turnout of 75 per cent,” said Sawant.
He further claimed around 70% of voters turned in the whole state and more than 85% voted in his Sanquelim constituency.
“I know that people are celebrating this festival of democracy with great enthusiasm…I am hopeful that there will be record voting in Goa this time – it will be up to 75%. People are voting for Viksit Bharat and Viksit Goa…BJP will win both seats in Goa.” said CM.
Sawant claimed that BJP’s South Goa candidate, Pallavi Dempo, is poised to win by a margin exceeding 60,000 votes, while their North Goa candidate Sripad Naik, is anticipated to secure victory with a staggering margin surpassing 100,000 votes.
CM Sawant also paid a surprise visit to Moti Dongor in Margao along with MLA Digambar Kamat to take stock of the situation.
“We will get a lead from Moti Dongor, Congress tried a lot to divide among voters but everyone is with BJP; Pallavi Dempo will win with a record margin,” he added
