CALANGUTE: Calangute police has arrested yet another person in connection with shack murder case bringing the total number of arrests to five.
“One more person is arrested in the murder case which took place at Marina shack; the total arrests in the case are now five,” police sources said

The incident took place at a beach shack in the Calangute area of North Goa late on Monday night, just ahead of New Year celebrations. The area is known for its vibrant nightlife and is a popular destination for tourists.
The altercation began when the tourists, dissatisfied with the refusal to serve food, engaged in verbal abuse towards a female employee of the shack. This verbal confrontation quickly turned violent, leading to the fatal assault on Ravi Teja. The police are investigating if there were any other angles to the fight, given the severity of the outcome.
