CANACONA: Canacona Police have registered a case against a local resident for allegedly accessing and sharing child sexual abuse material online.
According to police, the case was registered on a complaint filed by PSI Vishal Velip of Canacona Police Station.
Police alleged that on April 4, 2026, at around 7.37 pm, the accused, identified as Pruthvi Pagui, a resident of Colomb, Canacona, allegedly accessed a website containing child sexual abuse material, downloaded a video using an online link, and subsequently shared the file on WhatsApp groups using a mobile phone registered in his mother’s name.
Further investigation is being carried out by PI Pravin Gawas of Canacona Police Station.
