CANACONA: Cancer Screening Abhiyan a camp will held at Community Health Centre (CHC) Canacona on 28th September 2024 from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm
Government of Goa in Coordination with Goa Medical College and Hospitals Bambolim is organizing the Cancer Screening Abhiyaan at Canacona taluka.
People are requested to get themselves screened for Cancer if they have any of the warning signs stated below:-
White patch in the mouth or tongue, A non-healing Ulcer in the mouth, A wart/ Mole growing in size or changing it’s Colour or hardness, Difficulty in Swallowing food or Fluids, Persistent indigestion/change in normal bowel habits, Passing blood in the stools or from any Natural orifice, Persistent Cough or Hoarseness of Voice, A swelling/Sore anywhere on the body that does not heal, A family history of any Cancer, A lump in the breast, A non-healing Ulcer in a breast, Abnormal Discharge from the breast, Vaginal Bleeding in excess and Vaginal Bleeding in post Menopausal women.
The public is requested to pass the message to their relatives and friends and get themselves registered at CHC Canacona before 27/09/2024 and get Screened on 28th Sept 2024.
