PANAJI: Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) recently organised a Christmas Day celebration at its office in Panaji.
Decked in a festive look, the entire office was in a joyful mood, with employees taking part in various games and other fun activities.
The celebrations were held after a gap of 2 years following the Covid-19 pandemic. Employees exchanged gifts, engaged in carolling near the Christmas tree and later joined in fellowship.
“Christmas is a season to cherish peace and goodwill. It is a time of celebration of life and restoration of hope, a time of giving and joy. May this festive season bring love, joy, happiness and warmth to everyone,” said GFDC President Brahmanand Shankhwalkar.
GFDC Member Secretary Deepesh Priolkar said, ”Christmas is an opportunity to strengthen the bonds which unite us – as a family, community and country. Let us be the agents for promoting peace and bearing goodwill to all,” he said.
