PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant has announced the upcoming launch of the ‘Har Ghar Network’ scheme aimed at enhancing mobile and internet connectivity across Goa, particularly in remote and rural areas.
Addressing a public function, the Chief Minister said the scheme will ensure that every household in the state has access to a reliable mobile network and internet services. He emphasized that digital infrastructure is essential for education, employment, and access to government services in today’s era.
The government plans to collaborate with telecom service providers to strengthen the communication network across villages and remote hamlets. The Chief Minister also highlighted the state’s ongoing efforts under the Digital India initiative and reiterated his government’s commitment to achieving 100% connectivity coverage in Goa.
