PANAJI – It is disgusting to know that even after getting exposed on various scams, BJP Government headed by corrupt Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant is all out to make fortunes from Covid pandemic, the Goa Pradesh Congress committee said here today.
“The Home Isolation Kits distributed by the Health Department are short of medicines, oxymeters and other components, thus endangering the lives of the innocent patients. We demand that Health Minister Vishwajit Rane must explain to the people on shortages in the said kits demanded Congress Party,” GPCC said.
In a joint press statement issued by Youth Congress president Adv. Varad Mardolkar, Mahila Congress president Beena Naik and Seva Dal Chief Organiser Shankar Kirlaparkar, the three frontal organisation Chiefs have demanded judicial inquiry of the helm of affairs of Health Department.
“We have gathered information from various health centres that the Ivermeticin tablets stock has been made Zero in last one week after Congress exposed the scam. Now, the paracetamol stock is also reduced drastically in last fifteen days. There are complaints of sub-standard oxymeters which are provided in the home isolation kits. Many patients have not received Oxymeters in their kits. This is a clear cut indications that “All is not Well” in Health Department,” they say
They said the home isolation kits provided to the Covid positive patients do not contain all the items including medicines. Innocent people are cheated by the insensitive government. BJP Government is making fortunes from the short supplies. They made money from Oxygen Cylinders. After getting exposed now they have shifted focus on Home Isolation Kits.
Refutting the statement of Health Minister Vishwajit Rane that Congress Party must use better tools to understand current affairs, Youth Congress president Adv. Varad Mardolkar stated “The exclusive rights of Tool Kit are with BJP who are now certified by Twitter as ‘Manipulated Media’. Congress Party’s tools are Scientific Knowledge from recognised institutions like World Health Organisation, Indian Medical Association, Indian Council of Medical Research, Indian Medical Association, Indian Academy of Pediatrics & Experts from Medical Fraternity. Incidently, all these bodies have ridiculed BJP Government’s Covid handling in Goa.
Mahila Congress president Beena Naik reacting to Health Ministers statement claiming that BJP Government is sensitive said that “Sensitivity of BJP Government got exposed when Covid patients were murdered by stopping Oxygen supply at Goa Medical College . Will Health Minister reveal which experts had advised him to stop the oxygen supply to the gasping patients? . Which experts advised Chief Minister to send Oxygen Cylinders to Sindhadurga? questioned Beena Naik.
The Goa Medical Complex at Bambolm is vision of Congress Government in Goa. Health Minister should know that the BJP Government could not even maintain it. The dilapidated condition of GMC Pathology Block is living example of BJP governments misplaced priorities. The collapse of roof of the Super Speciality Block on the second day of its opening is a Certificate to corrupt regime of BJP said Seva Dal, Chief Organiser Shankar Kirlaparkar.
“We want to bring to the attention of the habitual party hopper Vishwajit Rane that the biggest contribution of our Congress President Girish Chodankar is his loyalty, integrity and honesty which he has learnt from our leader Pratapsingh Rane stated all three frontal heads of the Congress Party. We once again want to challenge the Health Minister to show guts and reveal the names of the so-called experts who advised him to stop oxygen supply to patients, use Ivermectin tablets as Prophylaxis treatment and give Home Isolation Kits without proper medicines and equipments,” they said.
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane stands completely exposed after revelations from GARD, IMA and IAP on total mismanagement of Covid Pandemic in Goa. He should first go for an open debate with them and address their concerns and than dare to face our Congress President Girish Chodankar, they said
