PORVORIM: Goa board has asked schools to conduct examinations (Theory and Practical) of Class IX and XI for the Academic Year 2020-2021 by calling the students in the school.
Liberty is given to schools to conduct the examinations as per the convenience of the schools as well as set their own papers as per the coverage of the portion.
The Board further said that those schools who have already conducted the First Mid-Term and First Term need not conduct again.
“Liberty is given to the schools to set the papers of First and Second Term with full weightage or with 50% weightage and then converting it into full weightage. (e.g. 80 marks paper shall be conducted of 40 marks and converted into 80 marks by multiplying by 2),” the circular by GBHSE states
Meanwhile, GBSHE has clearly mentioned that time limit for such papers shall be proportionately fixed. This may be made applicable also for practical component.
