MARGAO: The construction work of the new sessions and criminal court building in Margao is all set to start next month, with the government floating a tender for the project worth Rs 32 crore.
Speaking to media, Minister for Law and Judiciary Nilesh
Cabral said the work will exclusively commence by April or early May this year.
He said that the tender process is nearing completion and added that the foundation stone for the recommencement of the works will be laid either next month or in May.
He also said the government will finalise a Contractor and issue the work order,
Cabral will inspect the renovated criminal and sessions court building in the coming week to take a final decision on shifting the courts back to the building.
