PANAJI: The Crime Branch has registered an offence against 13 for their involvement in IPL betting racket.
The racket was operating in close premises of Dynasty Vila No. 1, Vidya Enclave, Porvorim, Bardez Goa.
The accused persons were caught red handed for while accepting bets on the on-going
twenty – twenty IPL Cricket match played between Rajasthan Royal and Chennai Super Kings and seized from their possession cash of Rs. 38000.
The police have seized 47 mobile phones, 1 laptops, 3LED TVs, 3net routers, 3 tata sky set-top
boxes, one router modem and other gaming electrical accessories al worth Rs.25,38,000/- approximately.
Hence offence U/Sec. 3 & 4 GDDPG Act, stands registered.
