MARGAO: Damdolem Sports Club outplayed St.Anthony Boys 4-0 in the 1st Caniza Peixeto Memorial 9-a-side football tournament Organised by Agxem sports club and played at St Alex Church ground Curtorim.
Damdolem Sports Club scored two goals in each session of play Nezy Hilario in the 7th minute of the game and Joy Hilario in the 18th minute of the game. Lean-to of St Anthony Boys missed the open chance before half time At the breather Damdolem led by 2-0
In the second session of play, St.Anthony Boys Timoteo’s powerful shoot in the 30th minute was saved by Damdolem’s goalkeeper later Milford Cardozo of Damdolem scored the third goal in the 32nd minute of play while Melvin scored the final goal in the 40th minutes of play.
Anthony Peixoto former player of Agxem presented the man of the match to Sandy Fernandes.
