PONDA: MGP’s Madkai MLA Sudin Dhavalikar has demanded a judicial inquiry into the deaths of the COVID19 patients due to shortage of Oxygen.
Referring to a news report that a minister has apologised for deaths, Dhavalikar said mere apology is not enough.
“As per news reports Minister Mauvin Godinho has apologised on behalf of Govt. for the deaths of our Goans due to mismanagement of the Govt and lack of oxygen. Can this apology bring back those innocent lives and give justice to their family?” he asked.
Dhavalikar said that the deaths due to lack of oxygen can be considered as a murder and Can an apology be accepted in the cases of Murders?
“Or is he playing as “Sankasur” in the “Dashavtaari kaalo” that is presently going on in the Goa Govt.?” he asked.
“An apology is not enough, a judicial inquiry is a must and all those responsible should be held accountable. No lives should be lost due to mismanagement and lack of oxygen,” Dhavalikar stated.
