Panaji, 28 – Union Minister of State for Defence Shri. Shripad Naik and Chief Minister of Goa Dr. Pramod Sawant started the distribution campaign of ‘AYUSH-64’ today at Paryatan Bhavan, Pato, Panjim. The event was organized by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India in association with Mathrubhumi Seva Pratishthan.
Chief guest Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant congratulated the Ministry of AYUSH for providing the proven medicine of AYUSH-64.
In his key note Dr. Sawant Said, “Every day new research is being done. For the last one year, the AYUSH Ministry has been trying to provide medicine on COVID 19. Today we have got a proven medicine in the form of AYUSH-64. It is a matter of great pleasure that the distribution of this medicine has began. ”
“Patients need to be very careful during the recovery period. Recently, it has been found that patients have complications even after recovery. Patients need to be very careful for the next six months. Special emphasis should be laid on diet and daily routine. The government has set up AYUSH clinics for those who have recovered. People should take full advantage of this service, ” Chief Minister appealed.

COVID 19 patients who have tested positive and recommended home isolation can avail AYUSH-64 medicine free of cost through their relatives / representatives by submitting Aadhar Card and COVID -19 RTPCR or Proof of Positive Test within seven days and HRCT Chest Report.
On this occasion `AYUSH 64` medicines were handed over to the representative of different institutions Dr. Supriya Dhond, PHC, Corlim, Dr. Sameer Sadekar, Asilo Hospital, Shri Bipin Natekar,President (North Goa) Keshav Seva Sadhana,Shri Sanjay Walawalkar, Keshav Seva Sadhana, Shri Milind Mahale, Helping Hand, Chorao., Shri Dayanand, Sub-Inspector, CISF, Dr. Sneha Bhagvat, Gurukrupa Ayurvedics, Dr. Deepa Marajkar, COVID Care Centre, Margao.
