MARGAO: A 74-year-old man from Seraulim, Colva, died while undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim, after reportedly suffering a fall at his residence.
According to police, Herbonio Fernandes was referred from the South Goa District Hospital (SGDH), Margao, to GMC on July 29 for further treatment following the fall. He later succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
The body has been preserved at GMC, Bambolim, for medico-legal formalities.
Further enquiry is being conducted by PSI Anil T. Krishna of Colva Police Station.
