PORVORIM: The Earth Moving and Construction Equipment Owners Association, Porvorim, has submitted a fresh representation to the Porvorim Police, seeking immediate and stringent action against two persons, Gopal Lamani and Girish Lamani, alleging that they are planning to target members of the association.
According to the complaint, the association had earlier lodged a police complaint on June 3, 2026, accusing the two individuals of assault, abuse and other alleged illegal activities. The association now claims that after being released, the accused have continued to issue fresh threats against its members.
The complainant has also submitted a video recording to the police, alleging that one of the accused can be heard saying, “This time, plan silently and teach you a lesson,” which the association claims indicates a conspiracy to attack its members.
The association has urged Porvorim Police to take immediate and stringent legal action against both accused to prevent any untoward incident and ensure the safety of its members.
Police have not yet issued an official statement on the fresh representation.
