The AAP criticised the Sawant Sarkar government as the implementation of Goa Investment Promotion and Felicitation Board approved projects has been delayed. Only 50% of IPB projects were sanctions creating a massive loss of opportunities for Goan Youth. Had these all been implemented more than 15,000 jobs would have been created by the youth. The Sawant Govt is least interested in providing jobs to Goan youth and is only interested in providing jobs to it’s chamchas
As per the Minister for Industries, Trade and Commerce, Vishwajeet Rane said the IPB received proposals for 174 industrial projects, of which 136 projects were approved and only 66 industrial projects actually became operational. 136 approved projects had potential to create 15,043 jobs, but in reality 6,116 jobs were created due to the slow pace of project implementation.
Unemployment has become a major plank for AAP which is attracting 1000s everyday to their booth level meetings across the state. The High rate of unemployment due to corrupt practices and the situation brought about due to Pandemic which the present government has neglected, has attracted people to AAP. Every day AAP is holding registrations across 75 booths and Yatras in 2 Assemblies across the state. AAP is seeing 1000s of Goans support Kejriwal’s job guarantee on a daily basis
“The inefficiency of the government executing these projects has proportionally caused an increase in the rate of unemployment in Goa. Where in 15,043 jobs should have been generated only 6116 jobs were created. The present BJP government is presently responsible for the joblessness of Goan youth’, said Rahul Mhambre, AAP Goa Convenor.
Valmiki Naik, AAP Goa lashing out said, “The Sawant Sarkar behaviour is totally irresponsible. It should take onus of the present unemployment scenario prevailing in the state. This is why youth is looking for an alternative in AAP.
