MANDREM: Mandrem police have registered an FIR against 06 persons following an assault complaint at Mandrem, Pernem.
Accused persons 1) Mr. Pravin Sawant 2) Rajesh Sawant 3) Jairam Sawant 4) Wife of Rajesh Sawant 5) Ladoo Sawant 6) Wife of Ladoo Sawant and others all R/o Ashwem, Mandrem, Pernem Goa.
The incident happened on 19/08/2024 at about 8:00 pm hrs at Shri Devi Bhumika Temple, Ashwem, Mandrem Pernem Goa where the Complainant lady was abused with filthy words and thereafter assaulted with slaps, kicks and fist blows causing her injuries and during the scuffle accused persons touched the complainant lady inappropriately thereby outraging her modesty and threatened with dire consequences to kill.
Mandrem police have registered an FIR under sections 352, 115(2), 75, 351 (3) r/w 3(5) of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita 2023.
