COLVA: Colva Police have registered an FIR against two unidentified persons for allegedly organising a bull fight in an open public place at TNK, Colva, on September 13.
According to police, the two accused allegedly organised a fight between two bulls for the entertainment of the public and provoked the animals to fight each other. The act allegedly subjected the bulls to cruelty and involved abetment of others.
Based on a complaint filed by PSI Anil T Krishna of Colva Police Station, an FIR has been registered under Section 11(1)(m) and 11(1)(n) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, Section 112 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 11 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act.
Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Anil T Krishna of Colva Police Station.
