PONDA: A pedestrian sustained head injuries after a TVS Jupiter scooter allegedly rammed into him at Caranzal, Marcaim, on November 2 at around 6 pm.
According to a complaint lodged by HC 6987 Rajesh Gaude of Mardol Police Station, the accused rider, Rahul Gaude, a resident of Kundaim, Mardol, was proceeding from Gaunem towards Marcaim when he allegedly rode the scooter in a rash and negligent manner.
On reaching Caranzal, Marcaim, the scooter allegedly hit Pandurang Naik, a resident of Ladewada, Marcaim, while he was crossing the road, causing injuries to his head.
Naik is undergoing medical treatment at Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim.
Further investigation is being carried out by HC 6987 Rajesh Gaude of Mardol Police Station.
