PANAJI: The Goa Forest Development Corporation (GFDC) has announced that all waterfalls under its management are now open to visitors for the monsoon season, with enhanced safety measures in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Tourists and nature enthusiasts can now visit Dudhsagar, Pali (Shivling), Charavne, Naneli, Savari and Mainapi waterfalls.
GFDC Chairperson Dr. Deviya Rane said the safety and well-being of every visitor remains the Corporation’s highest priority.
“While we encourage everyone to experience the breathtaking beauty of Goa’s forests and waterfalls during the monsoon, we urge visitors to do so responsibly with the help of deployed trained guides and forest personnel by following all safety guidelines,” she said.
The Corporation said regular monitoring of water levels and surrounding conditions is being carried out, with visitor access regulated whenever necessary to ensure public safety.
GFDC has appealed to visitors to strictly follow safety instructions issued by guides and forest staff and cooperate with authorities for a safe and memorable monsoon tourism experience.
