PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Wednesday said Goa has achieved 100 per cent registration of all public health facilities under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), marking a major milestone in the state’s digital healthcare journey.
Speaking after inaugurating the State-Level Workshop for the North Goa Model District Initiative under ABDM, Rane said Goa has also generated nearly 10 lakh Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) IDs, significantly expanding access to digital health services.
The workshop was organised in collaboration with the National Health Authority, the Directorate of Health Services, Goa, and the Government of Goa.
Rane said the progress reflects the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India initiative, aimed at making healthcare more connected, accessible and patient-centric through technology.
“Our collective effort is to make Goa a fully digital health state, where technology makes quality healthcare simpler, faster and more accessible for every citizen,” the Health Minister said.
He added that the state is continuing to strengthen its digital health ecosystem through wider adoption of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and improved integration of healthcare services.
