PANAJI: Cooperative banks in Goa, including Goa Urban Co-operative Bank and Goa State Co-operative Bank, will remain open during the nationwide bank strike scheduled from September 28 to 30.
The banks will operate their branches during regular business hours, ensuring that customers continue to have access to essential banking services during the three-day strike.
Digital banking facilities, including internet banking and UPI services, will also continue to remain available to customers.
ATMs will be stocked in advance to ensure adequate cash availability and minimise inconvenience during the strike period.
The nationwide strike has been called by the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), with demands including the introduction of a five-day banking week and changes to the Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme.
