PANAJI: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa, has released the provisional merit list for 2026 degree admissions to NEET-based courses and pharmacy programmes.
DTE has informed candidates that counselling for NEET-based admissions, including pharmacy, will not commence on August 18, 2026, as notified earlier, following a revision in the All India Quota counselling schedule by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
The Directorate said fresh counselling dates and the detailed admission schedule will be notified after the MCC publishes the revised state-wise schedule.
Candidates have been asked to report any discrepancies in the provisional merit lists to the Degree Admission Committee, Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, by 12 noon on August 17, 2026.
DTE has cautioned applicants that admissions based on an incorrect NEET rank, category document or eligibility status will be cancelled. Candidates have therefore been advised to carefully verify their details and eligibility in the provisional merit list.
The merit list covers various categories for NEET-based courses, including General, NRI, SC, ST, OBC, PwD, ESM and sports categories. A separate merit list has also been prepared for pharmacy admissions.
DTE further stated that candidates will be required to report in person to the Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, for admission. The revised admission schedule will be notified shortly on the DTE website.
