PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today informed that the state government has decided to do away with the need for permissions for home isolation to asymptomatic COVID19 patients.
CM also said that all positive cases will be considered as home isolated unless someone is advised to be admitted.
“Goa govt has decided to do away with the need for Permissions for Home Isolation to asymptomatic COVID19 patients,” said CM
He further said that all positive cases will be considered as home Isolated unless someone is advised to be admitted at COVID hospital or Covid Care Center.
“The home isolation kit may be obtained from respective health centers,” he said
CM Sawant also said that the central government has increased the medical oxygen quota to the state of Goa by additional 10 metric tonnes per day.
He further said that government will start inoculation of those in the 18-45 age group against Covid-19 “as and when” vaccine doses are available.
Vaccination for the 18-45 age group will progress as and when we receive the doses,” Pramod Sawant said in a statement.
The Centre liberalised vaccination roll-out on demand by state governments for more freedom in choosing vaccines and planning, Sawant said.
“Now it’s the duty of our state to procure vaccine and plan successful inoculation. Both these will happen in stages,” Pramod Sawant added.
