Take another example, the State Government has started externment proceedings against Revolutionary Goans Chief Manoj Parab. His name figures amongst 14 others.
Why? because Police says he has chapter and other cases against him.
The Director General of Police and Collectors seem to be misinformed about this issue.
All cases against Manoj Parab are politically motivated. He is no criminal. For God’s sake, he is fighting for Goa and Goans. He is fighting for the rights of every youth as the non-Goans are snatching away the jobs and benefits entitled to Goans with the help of corrupt politicians and officials.
He isn’t involved in the rape or murder of anyone, so how does he fit in the league of criminals? Mr DGP?

Goa is slowly losing its charm of being one of the safest tourist states as today, every other day, there seems to be a case of murder, rape or dacoity.
Going by the trends in the last few months, one opines there is no fear of law anymore. The goons, especially non-Goans, come to Goa, commit crimes and escape. They have no fear as they know that even if they are caught, they will manage to escape during the trial.
Being a State, totally dependent on tourism, Goa can least afford such a situation.
Now, Calangute is on the World Map of Tourism. The incident which occurred there wherein a youth was stabbed mercilessly, speaks volumes of how the law and order situation has collapsed in the State.
Tourists in future will have to rethink before coming to Goa.
Goa today seems like the famous Bollywood flick directed by Anurag Kashyap, “Gangs of Wasseypur”.
If the situation continues, it won’t be long before Goa joins the notorious league of UP and Bihar, wherein dacoity, murders and rapes have become a regular feature.
What is shocking is that the Goa Police seem to be showing no inclination to keep the anti-social elements under check.
Once a criminal like Tarzan Parsekar is on bail, Police have no clue where they are and what they are up to.
The second question that arises is why people like Gajendra Singh alias Chotu are allowed to do business in Goa freely? This guy has been involved in every given crime. Currently, he cooling his heels in jail for ransacking Souza Lobo restaurant a few months ago.
Nonetheless, his brother Manoj Singh seems to be handling the notorious business in his absence.
Manoj Singh has been found to be involved in the stabbing incident at Nagoa wherein Calangute youth Ravi Shirodkar was mercilessly attacked.
Manoj Singh owns Club X, from where the issue started. Singh was also present at the crime scene.
We need answers as to how these people get licences from Excise, Panchayat and FDA for running the business?
A normal Goan will have to run from pillar to post and would be denied an Excise Licence if a single case is registered against him. So how do people with criminal antecedents like Manoj Singh or Gajendra Singh get a licence?
Are the laws only for Goans to abide and non-Goan can do what they want?

While Manoj Parab is being politically targeted, people like Gajendra Singh and Manoj Singh are government guests who enjoy all the facilities, and even if any cases are filed, they get away with the help of loopholes in the law.
