MAPUSA: Acting on reliable information, the Colvale police team led conducted a narcotic raid near Chapel, Lobowado in Thivim and arrested the accused person, namely Bapun Barik (25) Odisha Native, for possession of a dried Greenish Color leafy and flowery substance suspected of seeds and stalks to be Ganja weighing 515 grams worth Rs. 51500.
In this connection, Colvale police registered an offence under section 20(b) ii (A) of the NDPS Act 1985 against the accused and arrested him.
PSI Kunal Naik is further investigating the case.
