MAPUSA: The Calangute Police apprehended four thieves involved in the theft of mobiles and cash from a parked bus at Arpora following a viral video on social media.
The Police detained suspects and habitual offenders involved in the thefts.
Police said the bus was parked on Nagoa Arpora Road.
The accused confessed to having committed a crime and mobile sold in the Calangute area.
Further investigation to recover the mobile phone and cash is underway.
The accused have been identified as Morsalin Molla, Raju Molla, Ariful Mondal and Bappa Molla. All are natives of West Bengal and presently residing at Canca-Verla.
They have been arrested under section 41 CRPC.
Calangute PI Dattaguru Sawant said that it is a good detection that within 24 hours of a viral video of the crime, the Calangute Police have cracked the case.
