VASCO: Mormugao Police have arrested a 23-year-old Sufiyan Irshad Shaikh, resident of GRB colony Sada for kidnapping and raping a 15-year-old minor girl and further threatening her to kill.
The accused is arrested under sections 363,376,506(ii) of IPC, sections 3,4,8,12 of the POCSO act and section 8 (2 ) of the Goa Children Act. LPSI Vibha Volvoikar is carrying out a further investigation under the supervision of PI Alvito Rodrigues and Vikas Swami IPS (IC Mormugao) and the Guidance of Mormugao DySP Salim Shaikh
