Goa Police arrest accused involved in Hill cutting using Gelatin

PONDA: Ponda Police recently arrested the accused of Hill cutting using Gelatin at Wadi Talavalim Panchayat. The arrest was made following an anticipatory bail application filed by the accused person, Sarvesh Prabhakar Gaonkar r/o Wadi Talaulim Ponda, dismissed by the Hon’ble district judge II and additional sessions judge Panaji sitting at Ponda.
The Police had registered a case against him concerning u/s 286,336 IPC, 17 A of TCP Act, and sec 5 of Explosive substances Act.
As such, the above-accused person, namely Sarvesh Prabhakar Gaonkar r/o H.no 453 Wadi Talaulim, was arrested for the above crime. The accused has been remanded for 4 days of police custody, said PI Vijaykumar Chodankar.
