VASCO: Vasco Police has arrested a Karnataka native for committing theft of nine mobile phone worth Rs 1.50 lakhs.
As per information, the accused has been identified as Yusuf Shaikh, a 48 year old resident of Karnataka.
During the arrest and interrogation, the Vasco Police has recovered nine mobile phones worth Rs 1.50 lakhs
Speaking to Media, Vasco Police Inspector Kapil Nayak said that he is an habitual offender.
Nayak said that he was arrested last year at Mormugao PS and 20 phones were recovered.
Speaking, further, PI Nayak said that police have also arrested 16 persons under section 34 (6) of IP act for creating nuisance by drinking in public places.
PI Kapil Nayak also said that we have issued strict warning and stringent action will be taken.
