PANAJI: The Goa Government has provided 46 new Mahindra vehicles to the Goa Police, in what Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant described as the largest single deployment of vehicles in the history of policing in the state.
The new vehicles will be deployed across Canacona, traffic and highway units, as well as various police stations, to strengthen security and policing operations.
Sawant said the addition of the vehicles will help the police force carry out its duties more efficiently and contribute towards safer and more effective policing across Goa.
The Chief Minister also congratulated the newly selected Police Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) who received their appointment letters during the ceremony.
