PANAJI: Goa Police, in collaboration with VIAANAAR Group, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Bicholim and the Telemedicine Society of India (TSI) Goa Chapter, felicitated all 14 police stations in North Goa district for successfully implementing the Swasth Police – Sashakth Police initiative.
The police stations were presented with Certificates of Appreciation during a function held at Goa Police Headquarters in Panaji. The initiative, launched on December 23, 2024, by Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, aims to strengthen preventive healthcare and ensure regular health monitoring for police personnel across North Goa.
Director General of Police Alok Kumar (IPS) presented the certificates and congratulated the participating police stations for their commitment to the programme. He also acknowledged the contribution of IMA Bicholim, VIAANAAR Group and TSI Goa Chapter for partnering with Goa Police to promote the health and well-being of police personnel.
Representing the partner organisations, IMA Bicholim President Dr Shekhar Salkar, TSI Goa Chapter Secretary Dr Devdutt Sail and VIAANAAR Group Consultant (Public Relations) Jones Samuel presented a memento to the DGP in appreciation of Goa Police’s support for the initiative.
Dr Salkar expressed gratitude to the Director General of Police, senior police officers, the Superintendent of Police (North Goa), SP (Headquarters), SDPOs, Station House Officers and police personnel for their cooperation in successfully implementing the healthcare initiative across all 14 police stations in North Goa.
