PANAJI: The Goa State Sevadal held an executive meeting at Congress House in the presence of Central Observers for the Navnirman Sanghatan Prakriya (Sanghatan Sarjan Abhiyan), aimed at strengthening the organisation and expanding its activities across the state.
The meeting was attended by Central Observer Jyoti Khanna along with B. N. Shinde, State Observer Kalpana Joshi, State Chief Organiser Rajan Ghate, and other office-bearers including Balakrishna Maherkar, Socorro Seby Menezes, Dada Bhai Shaikh, Francis X. Raposo and Damodar Shirodkar.
According to a statement, discussions focused on strengthening the organisational structure of the Sevadal in Goa, encouraging greater public participation, expanding the membership drive and allocating responsibilities among committee members to ensure effective implementation of programmes.
The Central Observer also met Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Girish Chodankar to discuss the status and future growth of the Sevadal organisation in the state.
During the interaction, Chodankar reportedly assured full support from the Goa Congress to strengthen the Sevadal and its activities across Goa. The meeting concluded with a focus on organisational expansion and increased grassroots engagement in the coming months.
