TALEIGAO: The Goa University has suspended all the online classes for programmes offered by it and its affiliated colleges from till May 31 and has declared it as vacation period.
The decision has been taken in view of the curfew imposed in the State due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The University had earlier suspended classes from May 11-24 in view of Statewide curfew.
“The University has decided to suspend the conduct of online classes for programmes offered on the University Campus and at its affiliated colleges till May 31,” the University circular issued on Friday stated.
The period of two weeks from May 31 shall be considered as vacation for the staff and students, who are eligible for vacation.
“Non-vacation staff shall continue to work from home as per the directives of their respective Directorates/Institutions,” the University mentioned.
