In reply, Jammu & Kashmir struggled to maintain the required scoring rate despite contributions from Bawandeep Kaur, who scored 36, Rubia Syed with 32 and Chitra Singh with 24. Their efforts offered resistance, but Goa’s bowlers kept the pressure on and regularly picked up wickets.
Durgad delivered a decisive performance with the ball, claiming three wickets for 25 runs. Shikha Pandey and Poorva Bhaidkar took two wickets each, while Sunanda Yetrekar and Shreya Parab picked up one wicket apiece.
Goa’s disciplined bowling attack prevented Jammu & Kashmir from building substantial partnerships and restricted them to 124 for nine in 20 overs, securing a 38 run victory. Harshita’s half century, Durgad’s all round contribution and Pandey’s impact with both bat and ball proved crucial to Goa’s win.
